Ownership Biographies: Lee Owens: 
Lee Owens graduated from SMU in Dallas, Texas. Directly after, Lee went to work for John Murphy in Alexandria, LA where he was able to work in every aspect of the dealership from service to sales. During his time in Alexandria, John sponsored Lee to attend the National Automobile Dealer's Association's Management Program. Once the program was completed, Lee returned to Dallas and worked for a few dealerships in finance and management, before moving to Sewell Automotive.At Sewell, Lee ran the finance department and later became a sales manager for Sewell's Oldsmobile Pontiac-GMC dealership. Working for Sewell, one of the most respected dealers in the nation, allowed Lee to futher develop his skills. Lee learned the true value of a customer. He understands that a one time customer is great, but to be able to turn that customer into a repeat customer is invaluable. He understands you have to provide a high level of customer service backed with quality and ethical standards. Lee is always striving to improve and develop the dealership for the benefit of the customer and the associates. He views associates as the key to a great business. You can have a great business plan, but if you do not have the right people in place, the plan will fail. He is constantly looking to develop and educate his associates in order to achieve success and prepare for growth. John Murphy: John Murphy moved to Alexandria, LA in 1976 to join his father at Southern Chevrolet Cadillac and worked as a Salesman, a Used Car Manager, a New Car Manager, and a General Manager. In 1978, John was elected by the seven stockholders to succeed his father as President/ Dealer Operator of Southern Chevrolet Cadillac. John has enjoyed numerous accomplishments since then:
